My recommendations are empty
Connect once so MovieShare can load the public catalog for your selected region. Cached picks continue to work offline. You can change the two-letter catalog region in Settings.
A friend scanned my QR, but nothing was saved
Scanning creates a preview first. The receiving person must confirm the import. If the same Profile was saved earlier, MovieShare warns that the new Friend Snapshot will replace it.
The QR is difficult to scan
Raise the displaying phone's brightness, avoid glare, keep the full square inside the camera frame, and hold both phones steady. The Profile screen tells you how many records are shared.
Streaming information looks incomplete
Availability is region-specific and sourced from JustWatch through TMDB. It may contain gaps. MovieShare never treats missing provider data as proof that a movie is unavailable.
I want to erase everything
Open Settings and choose Delete all local data. Confirming removes Ratings, Taste Weights, Friend Snapshots, cached catalogs, and both random identifiers, then returns to Onboarding.
Privacy or security reports
Use the same support address and put "Privacy" or "Security" in the subject. Describe the issue without including QR contents, identifiers, ratings, search history, or another person's data. The privacy policy explains the current data flow.
